Hi, welcome to the Kemp's Cobra
Page

We didn't mean to fall for the Cobras. When we came to Texas
in 1982, we drove down in our 1965 ElCamino pulling a 5x8
U-Haul behind. Our 4 year old son and old dog in tow.
We kept that El Camino for years. In 1995 we bought my husband
a black Mustang GT. As the side-bar says, shortly after that
we were going to the dealership, for an oil change I think,
and saw the 1996 Mystic Cobra sitting out in front. My husband
stopped the car and went to see it. Declaring it f@$#ing beautiful
we went in and asked about it. The Mystic package cost over
2000.00 more, but there was no question this was THE CAR.
"We" are Richard and Victoria Kemp. We live out
by Cresson, Texas. We have 2 sons; that "4 year old",
Ricky is now 28 and the lone "Texan" in our small
brood, Ryan is 21 and married to his high-school sweetheart
Jennifer. Our sons each have Mustangs, each a 1993. One has
a 5.0 hatchback and the other has a modified Fox-Body with
tons of stuff I can't comprehend with a Cobra intake that
does 7.6's in the 1/8 mile. It is for sale. (see
more pictures)
Today (07/28/2005) I took my Cobra to Dallas Mustang and
had them do 3 runs on the DYNO. We have only had the car 7
months, so I wanted to have a "baseline" reading
to see what I was dealing with. I am happy to say the first
pull ran 401.65 hp with 363.22 ft.lb torque. I hope you enjoy
our pages. We sometimes take the Cobras to local car shows
(Granbury), if you see us, stop and visit.
Thanks,
Vicky

2004 Cobra
Beautiful and fast, this predominately stock Cobra
is "her" daily driver and current obsession. I traded
my 1999 Electric Green Cobra for this rare beauty.

1996 Cobra
This fabulous car is what got it all started. Well, actually
a 1995 GT started it, but shortly after getting the GT, we
drove by the dealership and saw this Mystic Cobra sitting
out front. My husband's jaw dropped and he declared it @#&$-ing
beautiful. And it was, and still is.
